PEDIATRIC PRIVATE DUTY NURSING SERVICES
Private Duty Nursing (PDN) is a program designed to provide continuous care to chronically ill pediatric clients.
Under this program, a nurse is placed in the home to care for the client and allow the family a brief rest. The length and frequency of services depends on the needs of the client.

Eligibility to receive home health care under Medicare benefits is determined by certain guidelines.
The patient must fulfill the following requirements:
Doctor must decide that medical care at home is needed and make a plan for care at home.
Require intermittent skilled nursing care, physical therapy or speech therapy.
Be homebound or normally unable to leave home unassisted.
