Pediatric Private Duty Nursing Services
San Martin Home Health, Inc. provides pediatric private duty nursing services either by a registered nurse (RN) or licensed vocational nurse (LVN). Private duty nursing is a Medicaid waiver program.
Private Duty Nursing (PDN) is a program designed to provide continuous care to chronically ill pediatric clients.
Under this program, a nurse is placed in the home to care for the client and allow the family a brief rest. The length and frequency of services depends on the needs of the client.
PDN services are nursing services for clients who require individualized, continuous skilled care beyond the level of skilled nursing visits normally authorized under Medicaid home health services.
